Writing on the Water

  • Paul's Marina 36 Eastern Shore Road Brunswick, ME, 04011 United States (map)

Join Jennie and Captain Kelly Purinton for a special session of Writing from the Self. By taking our pens and paper out to the water, we will have a unique opportunity to access Self Energy. Kelly will sail us to a nearby island and pick up a mooring in a protected cove, where we'll write. There will be prompts to help us connect with deeply buried parts of ourselves, and to write these parts’ stories. (For much more information on Writing from the Self, click HERE.) After writing and sharing (optional), we’ll sail our way home again.

When not writing, we’ll enjoy wide open sky and sea, seabirds of several species, harbor seals and porpoises - they all share the bay with us. We’ll see lobstermen hauling and brightly colored buoys marking their traps. We depart Paul’s Marina mid morning and return mid afternoon. Bring a picnic lunch. Bottled water is provided, as well as all necessary writing materials.

What better way to open up and create more flow than writing while onboard?
